Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
That's right, for those of you looking to supercharge your 3.8l fbody car and add a little more power to your car, you now have an option. gvperformance.com is now selling a mounting kit so that you can piece together your own kit and save a bunch of money in the long run. The mounting kit is for the powerdyne bd11a headunit. Want more info? There is a group buy taking place for the first 5 kits at http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...371#post747371

2004 GMC Envoy - Tuned, Airraid Intake, rest stock
2005 Malibu - Stock, anyone have a ecotec factory gm supercharger for me? lol
You're a terrible person for allowing me to see this. Oh the bad thoughts running through my head. Did you guys ever get the bird on a dyno to see what it put out with the powerdyne blower?
Seriously? All that work and you guys never found out just how fast it really was?
he decided to sell the car for a trans am before we had the chance to find out. I will say it felt like my car with the 75 shot on in though. so that was low 14s in the 1/4. Might have been a 13sec car but we will never know.
people with the powerdyne have done 13s in the quarter with ease though

I'm acctually happy I never did run it, I never would have had time to sell everything before prices crashed. about 2 weeks after I sold the car the values of the cars substancially dropped. I was acctually thinking yesterday about contacting the guy who bought my kit and see what his car runs with it. I did have 3.73s to compliment mine though. I will say upon riding in my car 0-100, and then taking my friends lt1 auto with boltons, mine felt slightly quicker. So whatever that meens? Its all speculation of course. Compared to my ls1 auto with boltons the v6 felt turtle slow though lol.

I've been swaying back and forth between forced induction for my 3800 or going with a v8 swap. I put a deposit down for mine yesterday. Needless to say, I'm a sucker for superchargers. Now to source a head unit while the group purchase fills up.

best bet is ebay. When we made the original kit I got my head unit for just over 800 freshly rebuilt. Be sure to get the Powerdyne BD11A Straight scroll. NOT the 90 degree scroll.

Are these set up for smooth or grove-side drive? I'm just about ready to put a deposit down. I might just have something up my sleeve to go along with this... high-boost pulleys anyone?
