Thanks guys. It's been a lot of work for sure. The next step from here is hard to say...I'm not sure how long the stock motor is going to last under 15lbs of boost 8-O...SFC's would be a nice addition too. I would really like to clean up the accessory drive somehow, but the options are limited for my layout and the prices are crazy for what you get. A fore sure must is a complete wetsand and rub out. We stripped, blocked, primed, and painted the car in 4 days straight, so needless to say there is a lot of shrinkage that needs to be addressed .

Last fall at the strip I ran a 13.0-- @113mph on 10lbs of boost and very conservative timing. It is now on 15lbs of boost ant the timing is a lot more aggressive. I am hoping for mid-low 12's @117~118 at the next trip to the strip.

Found a few other pictures of the mock-up process spare motor also :

LOL @ stock motor. Car looks very nice. It's always impressive seeing someone make something that never existed.

Yeah I know it's crazy. But I have read of several stock engines taking abuse like this and living for quite a while. The biggest advantage I have is the stand alone and the wide band O2. Allows me to better monitor fuel and spark to keep everything below the detonation threshold a little better than stock PCMs. My statc compresson is rather low with the 76cc boat anchors at around 8.5:1. I have accidently run afr's of 15:1 under full boost 8-O and never had a knock problem...luckily
