as for the nitrous kit unless its a direct port one.. its not worth it 450 you could get it at that price anyware... and the purge lights and everyting are cheep now you can get them on ebay for nothing... id say wait if your tight for cash... what purge kit is it what size shot is it capable of? i paid like 250 or 275 for my kit used and its a 50-125 wet shot... the only thing that sucks is filling the bottle... only one place that i know of in my county that even does it and the guy is never there... im gonna have to cruise down to ram chargers or something to fill it...

I'd wait for a better kit.
Oh, and I swear the Z28 badges are partly responsible for why I rarely get a race.

ya buying it outta a catalog and depends what purge kit you get... all a purge kit is, is a seloniod with a hose sticking out where every you want it to shoot... 200 bucks for a purge kit..l think thats a joke, hop on ebay you could find one for 75 bucks with lights.. zex brand even is the one i was looking at... i got the edelbrock carb kit... but the wet kit for FI isnt any more i think it might even be cheaper because the nozzel for a FI is only like 75 bucks new where a plate is normally about 100 for a single stage 150 for a dual. even new my kit is only 375... go look it up on jegs.Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

Send those badges my way, I'm getting sick of beating on my car everytime some a$$ in a Civic or some other peice of rice thinks he's faster, and I have to smack him down a little bit. . . My little V6 can't help it! Maybe I could get a little more respect with the Z28 badges, too. . . What do you guys think? I wouldn't look like a poser or anything, would I? lolOriginally posted by 97rs4lifeThen shave the badges. That way you might get some more challenges, lolNick H.

Your sig pic looks like an LS1. The LT1 WS6s were done by SLP. The LS1 WS6s were largely designed by SLP, but American Sunroof Corp Global won the contract and actually did the changes. Did you ever find out your build number?Originally posted by BlackbirdWs6zzzit's true. The SLP team didn't change much. It's mostly the name people are afraid of. I'ts only like a suspension upgrade and such. Not much more. Same engine etc.
But i still wouldn't get anyting other then a Ws6
There are componenets in an LS1 WS6 which are not in plain T/As, but you might not use them if you just "cruise" on Woodward.

Actually Ramchargers isn't open anymore they closed a while ago now, but I have been to this place on Gratiot between 21 & 22 mile rd. a couple times lately and they fill bottles. Its called Lukovich performance they are on the West side of the street check them out if your heading that way. As for the WS6 comment I find it almost pointless to own one, its higher insurance rates and they are the same thing but with a build number, better suspension, free flowing catback, ram air hood, 17" rims, and "ram air". I am upgrading all of those components anyways so I went the cheaper route. Seems to be sleeperish anyways, if you can call it that lol.Doing less with more

yea the scamchargers closed its doors after 37 years of service.. the one on gratiot and 13(?) is now called "The Detroit Speed Shop" they opened up 2 weeks ago.. pretty much the same thing, only more touch to play stuff on the shelves and pretty much the same prices.. half the stuff on the shelves is still marked with the same price tags as scamchargers.. the one on 12 and dequnidre is closed and doesn't look to have another hi-po shop going in there anytime soon.. i guess some rim shop was looking to open up there.

now i would tell you to save your money and go turbo cuz turbos are better and they just sound soo beautiful BUT! I think you should get the spary and start out with it. just dont be stupid about it and use it at 2 grand or on your way to school or your gf's house. remember all the crap you gotta do like oil, spark plugs and all that fun stuff. be safe and careful.
