Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Oh don't get the wrong impression. This is not for my car. Jen told me her DD felt anemic and my buddy has this thing laying around. This is Jen's project, I am just overseeing it. My focus is on getting my bird back and enjoying it this summer and maybe picking up a part or two for the 355 along the way.
will you give the size and specs of the turbo. it will run out of air fast like 180-200. also plan to spend a bit of money in your kit like $900 easy.
i would say go for a t4 turbo. like a master power t70 with a .68 exh. thats around a $540 turbo + shipping . also i am sure you can find them used for less all day long.
that turbo is fine but man it looks small . but then i do have a 80mm t6
dont waste your time looking up that turbo unless you realy want to throw money away.

Keep in mind it is going on a 2.2L Ecotec Cavy. Those are not very big nor heavy cars. She does not want to race it, just give it more balls to get out of the way should she need to.
I figure its her cash. She can do what she wants and we will all learn something. I figure a $50 turbo is not a bad price. But I would agree, even by a conservative estimate $900 is probably only the beginning should she want it intercooled, using ebay piping, wastegate, bov, tuning and everything else she will probably put a lot more into it. But we got a good price on the car and a good price on the turbo. I am sure if I skulk around the jbody forums long enough we can find some good prices there too.
Oh and btw, Me and Jen just did some looking at our finances and should everything go to plan we should have enough to pay the bird off in time for the meet and greet!
