Good luck Jon! I remember the first start-up. My stomach was in my throat. But I was thrilled when it started and ran.
Thankfully nothing was forgotten. Keep an eye on your stock tensioner. Mine wore out and last week my belt fell off after running hard (had to get towed home). Upgraded to a Katech tensioner and problem solved (Thanks Jason!).

Thanks Tony, i'll keep an eye on that tensioner for sure now. I'm a little nervous as this is a brand new motor and trans. Not real worried about the turbo kit as it will do what it does, just hope the motor fires up and shows no issues.Originally posted by Hugger Z View PostGood luck Jon! I remember the first start-up. UPDATE:
The car is done, complete, it runs.
It was going on the dyno today but they were not able to access the tune in my computer.... drama. W2W tuned my car last year and they use HPTuners software. EPP that is tuning my car now uses EFI Live. So pretty much they do not mix, my computer is pretty much "locked" to them and they cant do anything. I contacted W2W and they will have to flash my PCM back to a stock configuration or something to EPP can access it to continue with the tune. Ugh, so close yet so far away! Too bad HP Tuners and EFI Live weren't compatible!
Won't have the car back for the Meet n Greet

Damnit! I hate how there is always something going wrong with our cars. Hope they get on it soon though Jonny. Does this mean they are shipping your PCM to W2W or what exactly is going on?Doing less with more

haha, actually no Larry. Rich @ W2W is still there..... the different softwares IS the issue as they cannot read the hptuners with the efilive, and i asked Rich, and he said he doesnt lock anything. My tune before in HPTuners was a 2 bar map sensor tune, so they have to flash it back, and start over fresh in EFI Live. Rich is calling EPP tomorrow to figure out what needs to be done, worst comes to worse they will have to ship Rich my computer.... or just buy a new one for 250 which i really dont want to do. It will get ironed out tomorrow hopefully but unfortunately that will be 1 day too late!Originally posted by 1BADAIR View PostThe differant software isn't the issue. The tuner can lock his program to the pcm.
I am pretty sure the commercial EFI stuff has an unlock feature to get around that problem though.
You may have other issues now too cause W2W is closing and most of the people have already leftsigpic
