  • Stock LT1 with spray??

Just a question....I know LS1's can handle a good amount of spray...What about the LT1's?? I think it would be kinda fun to put it to the test!!

LT1's from what I hear can handle some spray but I wouldn't put a crap load on it.

LT1s respond very well to spray, but remember our bottom end is not nearly as strong. We have 2 bolt mains instead of 6. If youre gonna spray it, you can throw a decent ammount at it... just keep your shift points in mind. Just because youre juicing it doesnt mean you should rev ANY higher than you normally would. Stress increases exponentially with RPM so keep it conservative shift point IMO. Ive seen 150 shots done with no problem.

lastly... if youre gonna juice, put headers on it. Pardon the politically incorrect analogy, but cracking the whip isnt nearly as effective when your slave is breathing through a straw.

with the nitrous kit and that genx2 kit you would be good to go. Some people also get a window switch but that is up to you.

You will have the WOT switch and FPSS already for safety.

Exactly, that motor should be fine with a 150 shot, just make sure you get a good nitrous tune

I'd be careful with a dry kit, stay under 100 HP to be safe. I've seen a few go BOOM at the strip.
