  • turbo or supercharger?

    need some advise from u guys..

    thinking about putting a supercharger or turbo kit on my stock 96 TA lt1..
    if i do what would be the best or what should i go with??
    kinda new to all this stuff..thanks

      A stock LT1 wont like boost. Avoid it unless you figure on rebuilding it anyway.

      There are always cars that survive, but N/A builds are cheaper and more reliable.

          Build up the motor and support mods first. Then you can make a choice between forced induction or Nitrous.

                    Personally I'm more of a nice heads and cam build man myself. If that doesn't make you happy put some spray on it!

                            It all depends on your budget and your goals. I am personally pro turboing anything now a days. I would say 8 out of 10 cars at the shop right now are getting or have a turbo on them. They are great for power on demand, but without all the supporting mods it is just a ticking time bomb.
