I was going to mount the bottle in the back but decided to mount it between the rear seats after seeing this setup. Plus this way I don't need the remote opener.. I am going to get the same bracket shown in this install.

I love that location I'm still undecided where mine will be but I think you'll be happy with it as long as the popo don't hassle you.

I think I'll go with 1BADAIR and put mine in the spare tire area. Be a much cleaner install with all the wires for the remote opener and bottle heater. Don't need any hassles with the man!

If I were ever to do nitrous I'd definately go with the stealth setup in the spare tire area. There's just no other good place to put a bottle setup in a 4th gen that doesn't look tacky and out of place to me, unless you've got a nice cage setup and the bottles strapped to that.

I personally love it in between the back seat.. However its illegal to have ti hooked up so that could be a problem and if it was a stock interior i think it would look out of place. Now if you had some gauges and switches it would look great.

Strap it right to the hood, to let everyone know you mean business.

Ive got mine between the seat, rarely use it, but always have it hoooked up and have never got in trouble for it, been pulled over and everything, and have had cops look at it before and never say anything?? maybe im lucky, but i like mine there, people still fit in the backseat fine, and i made my own brackets, and dont need a bottle opener (didnt have any money either)

I do like the stealth look though and if you have the funds, i would do it.....or put it on the hood

Larry, where are you going to have the purge lines? Just curious

I have mine between the back seats. I am making a new setup this winter with a rear seat delete though. Gonna have two bottles mounted to a rear seat delete with quick connect wing nuts for easy removal of lines. I like being able to reach back and turn it on, don't have to worry about a bottle opener not opening it all the way or closing it all the way. Plus with the wing nuts you can have the lines off in seconds if you were to get pulled over.

I also like having a spare tire in the car yet, and just take it out at the track

As the cop pulls his gun on you cuz you're screwing around behind the seat while he's walking up to your car!!!
