Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Unfortunately its not easy to fit a positive displacement supercharger in a 4th gen F-body...
otherwise i'd be done already.
I'd rather go turbo (gasp) than do a centrifugal type SC
I dont konw what the centrifugal kits are like, but the positive displacement kits come with everything you need down to zip ties.. plus awesome instructions..

Procharger is absolutly the way to go with a centrifugal SC (or any IMO) on a f body, I'd recommend a D-1 kit. These kits can be made to come with everything needed but make sure to invest in the 8 rib upgrade so you never have belt slip issues down the road.
If you wanna go with a Maggie LM speed makes a complete kit now that requires you to lower the K member but it does kit with very minimal changes and will makes some serious power as well.
also keep in mind with added power comes things that break, like transmissions, rear ends ect. so be prepared to go all out or not at all. Stock parts may last but with 500rwhp or more its all a ticking time bomb.
If you are stuck on going supercharger I would recommend a Procharger over a Vortech. Ultimately if funds allow and you are flexible on your power adder. I would purchase a turbo kit.
if your going S/C only use Pro Charger, there a nice unit, and work very well...
and the price of the pro charger compleate kit you could get a nice TT kit... and with the TT kit you can always go up in HP range when upgrades are done to the engine...

Contact VRE but the kits run about $6K or so without install or a tune, all said and done your probably looking at around $8K to get the car up and running with all the necessary fuel, install, and tuning. No form of FI is cheap. I'm sure you could get it done cheaper but might as well over estimate.
Buy the driveline first, then see how much you have left for power adders. Otherwise you'll blow all your cash on the power adder and have nothing left to fix the tranny, rear end and driveshaft.
