truthfully.....I bought mine at Advance Auto for $80.00. Its a brand they sell. And Ive had it for 4 years now. And we kick out 2 cars a week at least. And thats not counting everytime we wheeled out our own personal stuff.
So no......you dont need to spend that much on a wheel.....just to have a name brand one. Unless you want to. I did have to buy the adapter to use the pads with the velcrow backing. Then buy a couple pads the compound and your all set.sigpic

yeah the dewalt trigger is really springy and feels more "on or off" as opposed to the makita's trigger is more "progressive" if you will, makes it alot easier to wheel slower even if you have the rpm's cranked up highOriginally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postyea the dewalt is heavy. its also got a randomly touchy trigger.1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

i can't agree with anyone on here who says a pc is not for polishing. ive seen some rediculous turnarounds with nothing but a PC. just go to almost any thread in here http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/ everyone uses different things for different results. even though my car has 120,000 miles on it, i don't need a rotary to beat the crap out of the paint, because it is in good enough shape that the extent of a PC is more than I would ever need to keep the car looking like this.

I thought a PC was a dual function of some sort, and the function that wasnt orbital could be used for this. I have no experience with whatever the PC so im not going to claim any knowledge on it. All I know is you will be at it ALL DAY trying to get the same polishing result with an oribital that you would with a wheel in 5 minutes.Originally posted by 00firebird View Posti can't agree with anyone on here who says a pc is not for polishing. ive seen some rediculous turnarounds with nothing but a PC. just go to almost any thread in here-Joel
