not a big fan of zaino anymore. its good stuff, but ardex is way faster, easier, and cheaper.

So how does the Ardex stack up to Zaino as far as the results and longevity go? I'm willing to try it if you think it's worth it. I've heard that Zaino's been raising their prices, and I'm not exactly looking to blow a lot of money on my stuff. . . Especially considering that I won't be able to wax my car for a while after I repaint it. . . What is it, something like 6 months you're supposed to wait after a fresh paint job before you go anywhere near it with wax?

It depends on the type of clear that you spray on the car, but usually 4 weeks is the minimum. Till that time i suggest buy a bottle of 3m hand glaze, this will allow you to still wash your car, and make it look like it's just been waxed. Some clears only need a week or so before they can be waxed, while others need 4-8. I know dcu3000 is about a week or two, it's got a very fast cure time. While some other clears need weeks to cure nice and hard.

the tool box holds all the stuff i use at car show's. race glaze is the basic set up after the wash takes off the film no waxey residue.

Youve gotta be careful with race glaze, Are you using it instead of a wax? That stuff will make your paint very smooth, flat, and shiny. But will take off the clearcoat over time
