Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Well, I'm starting to acquire a respectable detailing setup, quite a collection of polishes, waxes, etc., and I thought I would share. . . Let's see what you all have! Here are a couple of pics of the stuff I use when I detail.
BTW. . . This is Nick. . . lol 06CamaroDude. . . I couldn't delete the post to post it under my name, so you get the idea. lol

-LT1 383 Stroker, 36 lbs SVO's, Comp Custom grind, Eagle H beam forged rotating assembly, 1.5 RR's, Hooker super comp LT's, custom straight pipes back to a pair of Thrush Turbo II's.. more to come.
You all know it's a work in progress, right? lol I just got a crapload of stuff for my birthday, including the bucket organizer and some detailing products, and I thought I would share. I'm hoping to get some Zaino and/or Tropicare stuff in a few weeks to try out, and then my rig will change. . . lol Post up your pics, I don't want to get flamed, I was just trying to start a thread that some of us detailing fiends could enjoy. Post 'em up!
don't give me that, you edited that in after I seen the post and was posting.
Not after your last post. . . after your first post maybe, but not after the last one. . . lol It's my stuff. That's right, Nick likes to detail his "Work in Progress". lol

My stuff is pretty basic. As my memory serves me. . . I have a variety of car wash concentrates, from Meguiars to Turtle Wax, I have a few waxes, Turtle Wax paste wax, a bottle of Meguiars wax, and I think I've got some other sort of cleaner wax lying around somewhere. There's a bottle of NXT Tech Wax I lost in my apartment recently I'm trying to find too. There's some Turtle Wax F21 Polish in there, as well as F21 Interior Protectant, and the Meguiars Interior Detailer. I have some various other stuff too, like air fresheners, tire shine, wheel cleaner, detailing brushes, glass cleaner, basically everything I would need to fully detail a car inside and out. I have a 5 gallon shop vac at home, but I'm hoping to get something slightly smaller for taking around when I detail people's cars, I have a few people who've already asked me to detail their cars, I just need to set a price and get the basics worked out. I have some preferences as far as my products go, when I want a wax that lasts longer but doesn't have the initial results, I go with the Turtle Wax Hard Shell wax, otherwise I'll use one of the Meguiars products. The interior detailer I prefer is F21, it lasts longer and shines better than the others I've tried. I love Meguiars NXT products, one of the best I've used so far, but I want to give the Gold Class stuff a whirl too. Tire shine I use is Meguiar's Hot Shine, best I've seen yet. I sprayed some on my tires at about 3pm Sunday, drove to Woodward, cruised a little, came back (that's about 200 miles), and it still looked as shiny as it did when I sprayed it today, after all the rain, and I resprayed it, still looks gorgeous. Basically, for off-the-shelf Auto Parts store stuff, the Meguiars is the best out there that I've tried. I'm going to finish by trying the Gold Class stuff after I finish the Camaro, then I'm moving on to internet-only stuff, like Zaino and Tropicare, stuff like that.
