well, i got back from florida the other night. it was a blast...but what i came here for:

i detailed my girlfriend's family's fleet of vehicles. a ford escape, lincoln navigator, and pontiac bonneville ssei. on all vehicles, i started out with a vacuum, hit everything with meguiars quick detailer cleaning spray, went over the interior with turtle wax f21 (formerly 2001), and then did all windows with eagle 20/20. interiors all turned out great since i used my products of choice

as for the exterior goodies, it was all liquid ice this time. i first used some dawn dish soap on all the vehicles to strip any waxes and such off. then, i left the cars wet, and hit them all with liquid ice claybar. did a great job of removing all the stuff from the cars, especially the tar on the bonneville. then, i washed them again with meguiars gold class car wash, removing any claybar residue and giving the paint a quick conditioning, then finished the paint off with liquid ice liquid wax. i then took some mothers wheel polish and a mothers power ball and went at the wheels. a little bleachwhite cleaned the tire sidewalls and wheels of road grime and brake dust, then i shined the tires with the turtle wax f21. the results were impeccable. a day of work was well rewarded and they were very impressed, repeatedly saying their cars looked like they were right off the showroom floor.

the verdict on the turtle wax liquid ice line of products: A+. they are definitely my weapon of choice. they are quick, worry free, and the results reflect an expensive professional detailing. not worrying about sun an unpainted surfaces is a big plus. i recommend the claybar to everyone as well, and i will be converting to liquid ice car wash when my meguiars runs out.
