Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I usually wash my car at a couple different quarter washes I happen to like, Ive never had any complaints but I know a couple people dont like to use 'em.
I would prefer to hand wash it, but I dont always have time or the stuff I need. Plus living in a apartment makes it a bit of a pain. I was just curious if anybody here had any major reasons they dont use them.
The Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.
I take it thats because dirt and stones can get caught in them? I usually blast the brush with the hose first. I can never get the car completly clean unless I use the brush.

I use it for my daily driver sonoma all the time. Never the Trans Am though. Even when i go with the sonoma all i use is the high pressure wash, no soap, no brushing, nothing but high pressure.... seems to clean it pretty good for my winter beater
I don't have a house to wash my car since I'm live in an apt also, so I take mine to the quarter car wash too. Seems to work okay, the brush is kinda iffy cause no matter how much you blast the brush, the possibility of scratching your car is pretty good. I only use the brush to clean the bottom of my car, wheelwells, wheels and tires usually.
hmm...i have never taken a vehicle i own through a drive thru wash ever...and i've used a few 1/4 car washes...mostly just to clean my dirtbike when it's muddy....i have the convenience of everything i need at work. power washer, huge bucket of nice soapy water and clean wash mits (we make new wash water about every other day at work and wash the wash mits about the same. get new ones every week or so...) i have an air drier at work as well. makes things handy!
