Yeah, I only tried the orbital once, and I didn't even get all the way through it, was easier just to do it by hand.

Ok Maybe you help me here a little, I always used a RO buffer to apply the wax/polish, let it dry, then use the RO buffer to remove it with a clean pad. When do you buff? while its still wet or after the excess is removed? After reading some of this stuff I think Im going to remove by hand from now on though.Originally posted by kammi10yeah apply and take it off by hand. only use the buffer to actually buff the carThe Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.

when i am actually buffing i just use rubbing compound and then go at it with my special polish and lay a good coat of wax over top.
never used a clay bar on it but hoping to do so this year to make the white shine even more

i just looked for matts response because i knew he would have it coveredOriginally posted by SS4MattI use Ardex Topaz "yellow paste wax" it's inexpensive and it's the best stuff i have found so far...that and the can has a 4th gen LT1 camaro outline on it

on the contrary I will say that this is the only paste wax i like, and i REALLY like it. Otherwise i prefer licquid.-Joel
