NXT here....rocks! About 3-4 times a summer after a wax removal job. I used to use Zanio but got tired of having to order it online...I like to be able to just pick up wax at a local store.

With as bad as my paint is. Liquid looks alot better. Tried Meguiars Gold Class paste and it really showed how bad my clear coat was. The Eagle One Wax as You Dry works great IMO.

Its not the wax that gives the shine.. its the prep work

Clay bar, polishing compoud (machine), ... then wax

I used to use the Meguire's Three step kit till they came out with NXT, now I use that . I tried Zanio and I liked it but it seems a bit finicky and tricky to work with. Although I love the Fusion paint cleaner. I think NXT is just a polish though right? I need a good wax recomendation. Iv'e pretty much hooked on liquid stuff since I bought a buffer. That and ever since that one time my dad gave me a tub of old ass pure caranuba wax from like 1968 and it took me a week of buffing to get it off the car, I have avoided pastes like the plauge. I was like "Umm...Dad, its not coming off the car" And he was like "Huh? No you just let the rain take that stuff off, theres no way your getting that off by hand" . Gotta love dads

I have clay bar'ed the car before, I usually do it at least once every other year, but I might space it out more as last year I didnt get crap off the car. I have never used polishing compound before though I was always afraid of scratching the crap outta the paint, any special steps or am I nervous for no reason?

I'm really into detail work. I can wheel out a car pretty well.

I really like the Ice wax like Chad. You can put it on everything except glass.
You dont have to worrie about the white paste wax you forgot to get in the crackes.

After I wheel out a car.....Ice wax is the final step for me.

Definitely all about the prep. I can't wait for spring so I can get my porter cable out and go to work on mine and Angie's cars It's gonna be a blast doing all the steps and making both her paint and my paint look top notch again.

I voted for paste. I use plenty of liquid waxes, but paste seems to last longer than liquid.

I lack the equipment to do all the fancy stuff, so Eagle 1 Wax as U Dry actually does quite well for me. Between wax I use Meguiar's detailer

                              for everyone confused...

Here is the best "Detailing" website/forum out there.

                              http://www.autopia.org/

If you want to detail the right way.. you need to learn how first. And one thing.. there are many different products that can achieve the same result.
