  • Door Hinge lube

What have you guys found works best for lubing your door hinges? Also, what do you use to clean them and get all the dirt out first? Ideally the lube would be something that doesn't make a royal mess when applied ala white lithium grease.

So far based on my research people seem to really like Wurst HHS-K but it's nearly impossible to find except on ebay where it's ~$30/can. Anyone know where you can get this locally for a better price?

Honestly, i've used motorbike chain lube for years on all of my doors. works great. IMO it doesn't collect dirt and grime nearly as much as white lithium grease as it dries like in between a wax and a grease.

I actually use MP hd from Amsoil, but i have a older can of Honda Chain lube, that i swear has got to be the same formula, smells, and feels, and sets up the same. i would imagine other brands like Belray and Motul, are about the same though
