  • California duster

OK before I insured the Camaro, I took out my porter cable, went through my steps with polish, wax yada yada..Camaro looked great.

Car has been getting real dusty as of late so I use my Cali duster maybe 6 times in the past 3 days to try and keep it clean.

I was at gas station filling up and just glanced at my paint and looks like its rubbing the dust into my paint? I have some fine streak marks/lines that weren't there after I used my PC..

Anyone else have this problem? Maybe I am using to much pressure? Dusting to fast?

Use mine all the time. I just wipe it and then shake it, wipe the next spot, shake repeat.
Also don't use pressure just hold it and wipe no downward pressure.

Use mine almost every day. Great for wiping light dust and pollen off the car.

Wash it once... it has some sort of waxy substance in it that makes streaks. Wash it by itself... it will lose its dye.

I use one all the time. It left very light streaks from when it was new, but that's just the wax in it, and they always wiped right off. As it gets dirty those go away. I love using it.

I have been using them on my car since new. When they are new its really loaded with "wax". When brand new its helps to let it rest on clean paper towel overnight. The paper will absorb some of the excess. The older it gets the better they work, when new use a light pressure. After I use the duster I go over my car with a Kozak cloth, they really do an amazing job.

Really? Never heard that. Anyway, i get uncomfortable using it after swiping the side of the car and picking up brake dust... metallic particles getting dragged on my paint = not good.

Duster still works well after its washed

Mine says right on it not to wash it if at all possible.

                          Ive washed mine before

I don't really care what the instructions say, I'm gonna wash the brake dust and crap out every now and then. Black is too much of a pita to keep clean, even a slightly dirty microfiber can end up making things worse.

Yup - they just don't want you washing the wax off when it's relatively new. I washed mine and it still works great.
