Yes you can strip it off with dish soap, but I wouldnt use XMT all over again. Its more a paint correcting to get rid of the swirls, doing it over and over will just take the clear coat away a little at a time. Only polish when you need to. And once you add the 845 if you wax the car e ery two months or so your good to go.

I've got a porter cable and my supply of Sonus products is getting low... maybe some point in the future I'll have to take a look at this system.

Im not sure what those numbers indicate on the PC but I use 2000-2500 rpm for absolutely everything.Originally posted by Fox Slaughter View PostUm. There is 11 speed settings. 1 - 6 and you can set it between. So 1, 1.5, so on.
With no load its suppose to be 2500 - 6800rpm.
Heres a response from AutoGeek forum though.
Speed 1-2 Wax
Speed 3-4 Spread polish / Work in light finishing polish
Speed 5 Compound / Polish
Speed 6 I don't use much, but used for heavy removal.
I put the compound on the pad, spread it, use setting 3 to evenly coat the surface, turn it off switch to speed 5 to complete it.
You can adjust the speed while its running but I prefer not to.-Joel
