Has anybody used this stuff before? I am not thinking of using as an actual "Waterless Wash", but more like a quick wax/detailer. Is it worth it? seems like a fair deal for $17.

P.S. Is there a product review section? I could have sworn that there was one, but when I looked/searched for it, i didn't find it.

How the hell is one bottle of that stuff and six microfiber towels a $100 value?!

    Used to own a Firebird.

Because Darrell Waltrip's face is on it.

And never mind on the good deal, I just read all of the fine print:

*As a bonus, you'll get an additional bottle of Rejuvenate® Auto Wash & Wax PLUS 6 additional Microfiber Cleaning/Polishing Towels for FREE, just pay separate $14.99 P&H

*As a bonus, you'll also be able to get the Leather & Vinyl Care Kit for FREE, just pay separate $19.99 P&H

*As a bonus, you'll also be able to get the Auto Lens Renewer Kit for FREE, just pay separate $19.99 P&H

Eff that! I might just go to auto-zone and buy the stuff just to try it.

Is it really any better than the Meguiar's products?

Meguiars gets kinda streaky on me lately, especially the black stripes. The Surf City Garage stuff doesn't get streaky for me unless I'm using a microfiber that's too saturated.

I would never use a "waterless" cleaner on a car. If the car has dirt on it, when you wipe it it will scratch the shit out of your paint no matter what they say. The detailer sprays seem to work if you already have a good coat of paste wax already on the car.
When in doubt, Whip it out !

I got sprayed by Potbelly's poorly aimed sprinklers (which water the right two lanes of Woodward to make sure they grow properly) once, and I had just used the Surf City detailer that night - came home and the car had no water on it, just beaded right off. Works really nice.

I'm 50/50 on that. I've "washed" my car with detail spray using brand new microfibers and I haven't scratched the crap out of my paint. The last time I waxed my car was before the Meet & Greet in June. Having a real plush microfiber helps trap the dirt without scratching the paint.

I would not use this on my firebird anyways. This will be used on my dd now that it sits outside 24/7 at school/work term, just to clean it a bit between washes.
