I'm letting the missus make the call on what she wants to do. I will probably pull off the side mouldings when shes not looking but the pinstipes will be a chore so they'll stay for a while.
I pulled the driver seat out tonight so she can take it in to get the bolster fixed. We talked to an upholstery shop and they said they could fix it. It looks like the seam has simply come apart so they will pull it back together and reinforce it.
    See everyone at the M&G.

FWIW, I had the bolster replaced on my 97 SS and pulled the cover off my self and brought it in like that. It saved a bunch of money to pull the cover myself. Car looks great. Congrats on bringing it back from where it was. Great work. Eric L

You can also use a rubber wheel (pinstripe eraser) to take the stripes off. Fits into a drill and basically "erases" them without harming the paint. Then again, happy wife, happy life.

I've always used Turtle Wax Ice detailing products on the exterior of my car.. nobody else I know can make their car shine like mine does :] I won't use any other wax... for a long long time. you should definitely give it a try, I think you could see/feel further improvement in the condition of the paint...

I bet you I can make anyone shine better. Ice is good, but I have far better products. The best waxes, sealants, polishes IMO not shelved in stores

At least in this country I think haha
