  • Tried some metal polishing - Exhaust Tips

Heres the one part of the car i really neglected over the years, started to become a real sore sight. I got a new blackfire metal polishing wool pad I was eager to try out with my machine polisher.

    Process:
    1. 1500/2000 Grit Sandpaper
    2. Machine polish with wool pad & Menzerna Intensive Polish (Tried a eagle one metal polish off the shelf from murrays, it really didn't do much)
    done!

Took about an hour to sand off all the tar and rust spots, thats where most of the work was.

    Before:

    Sanding:

    Polishing:

    After:
    2000 Firebird A4 black hardtop
    intake/exhaust, fuel/ignition, pcm retune, rims/tires
