I got this recipe from my trucker bud. Get a white rouge polishing brick from the truck stop, should be 12"x2"x2" about 2 lbs. Cut it into 6 equal parts. Take one part, wrap it up with red mechanics rag, smash it up with a hammer so it will go into a 20 oz. plastic pop bottle. Now, put it into a pop, water or gatorade bottle. Fill with charcol lighter fluid, a little less than what came in the bottle. Put the cap on,duh. Place into a bucket of hot water (hot water from faucet is all you need) for 15-20 min. Shake it, shake it, shake it. Done!! It will try to separate over time(months) give a little shake, it's fine.

That's what I said, but it does work. I have used it on every kind bare metal, aluminum, stainless, machined cast iron. Works great for preping surfaces for gaskets like intake's. My trucker bud even uses it on his mirrors, it prevents fogging.

I think it is easier to just pay for the good stuff at Murray's.

hahahah guys i used to work at a place called blue beacon. all we do it wash big rigs. and trust me i can vouch for this. i believe thats what we used. i never mixed it or anything but it sounds quite correct and ima tell you right now. for the price its the best thing you can do. i pay 9 bucks for my little tub of blue magic and itll last me about 2 months. polishing twice a week or more. throughout the summer. and ihave a bottle sitting in my garage at home. i used to use it every weekend and it lasted for about 3 and a half years. just a soda bottle size hahahhaa.
