  • Detailed the Gramma mobile... ohh yeaaah!

Well, gramma wanted me to do her Aurora for her so i got her done. The car has never been waxed in it's life and when it rarely gets washed, its just ran threw the no touch machine. So in short, this thing was in some deperate need of care. Also note, i have never seen so much crap caked down the side of a car, lol. Crap i mean as in stuff in clearcoat like tar, road paint, overspray, other junk, etc. I gave the car the overhaul, wash, INTENSE clay bar, rewash, clean wheels, shine tires, polish windows in and out, vacuum interior and clean out a jillion empty water bottles and trash, and wax the exterior, will be doing another layer tonight. heres some before pics of the dullness and crap, Note: This crap was down the ENTIRE side of the bottom parts of the door and 1/4's... all the way down them...

    BEFORE
    The Crap:

    The Dullness:

    AFTER
    clean sides:

    The Shine:

    The Clean:

This car required a ton of work and def some elbow grease.... I'm very happy with the final result I managed to get out of the bottom parts of the doors, just thought i'd share what i did all afternoon!

Drew is probably still high from smelling the gas fumes when I spilled it in his shop! (yeah, drew, sorry about that, haha)

But seriously, good job on the Aurora, now when are you coming to do my car?

Dude, I did the same to my Dad's Aurora. . . Looks identical to that, but it's got black/blue pinstriping. Just washed & waxed it, but as soon as this weather clears up, I'm gonna try to get ahold of a claybar and go over it with that. Those cars look so nice when they're taken care of!
