Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

What do you people use on your Polished aluminum rims? I'm getting either TT2 rims or Junkyard dog rims in a week or two and need to know what works best. Zoop seal is extremly expensive but if it works like Zaino does on my car then it maybe worth it?
I've heard that if you clean them very well and get them real shiney that Zoop sealing them lasts a couple of months and keeps them looking great but I don't have any personal experience.
Well one thing is for sure..... I also need to replace the brake pads with something that doesn't leave so much dust. Any ideas on upgrades let me know.
Whats everyone else use on there polished rims? What about cleaning them. If I use a concentrated wheel cleaner it may break down the zoop seal anyway?
if you are going to get polished wheels the best advice i can offer is polishing them up REAL nice right off the bat and then sealing it with a good 2-3 layers of clear coat. granted you will lose a bit of luster, youll never be polishing again.
Zoop seal is about $130 last time I checked so if it comes down to it that's as expensive as I will go. No way am I going to spray clear coat on polished rims. WMCCjames are those polished or chrome rims? They look killer. What are they? and size?

They are polished like Gary said. They are 18x8's front and 18x10's rear. Thanks for the compliment!
Look's like I'm going with Zoop I've heard good things about it. Along with the new wheels and zaino I will have a brand new looking ride. Pics in a week or two.
Lots of elbow grease and regular Mothers followed up by an easy coat of Mothers Billit. My wheels are 6 years old and never looked better
