Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

My Dad showed me this. If you take a peice of chaulk that is the same color or nearly the same color as ur car and grind it up into liquid wax, it will fill in minor scratches. It will wash out after a few washes though.
that's all those miracle scatch filling waxes are, the problem with touch up paint is you can always see a line where it was applied (unless your really good)
yeah, my dad's porsche has the clear coat like... breaking down, it's all cracking on it's own cause it's so thin, atleast that's what some body shop said. So doing this to tease him into thinking it was fixed should be a good laugh.
the body shop was full of it, it's cracking because it wasn't cared for properly (I bet turtle wax has been used on it) what happened is it didn't get enough air and got brittle, needs to be stripped to fix it right
yeah, well I guess the clear coat is REALLY thin on his car for whatever reason, I was thinking about trying some of that menzerna intensive polish on it with a buffer and see what happens, but I don't want to go through the clearcoat if it's really really thin.
I'm learning to paint too. After I wrecked my blazer, I did all of the body work myself. Even shot a couple of coats of primer. I'm relatively good with an airbrush, but I still need some improvement.
If you want to fill in a scratch reall good use a syringe with paint in it to inject it into deep scratches. In fact, they sell kits on the internet for it.
