  • Anyone found a good wheel cleaner?

I've been trying to find a wheel cleaner that works as advertised, and haven't yet. Has anyone found some that works without having to scub the heck out of it?

This one goes over some good methods, it's not the one I was thinking about and I dunno where it is, but try autopia-carcare.com's forums, they have some excellent information there.

I have used Eagle One A to Z wheel cleaner I think it was, worked good. I have used meguiars wheel spray, that needed some scrubbing with the brush, but everything was loose. I also have used this orange wheel cleaner spray stuff, worked good as well. I use them every weekend though so brake dust doesn't get caked on to much anyways so it comes off easy

Yea like I said, I can't really tell what works best cuz I do it weekly so stuff comes off easy. autopia.com has a bunch of good info though. I go there for all my detailing needs

I used to do detailing so I've dealt with alot of teh stuff, but the wheels on the gp seem to hold dirt kinda ticks me off. I'm a bit strange when it comes to detailing also I base my stuff on the paint manufacturers recomendations not the wax companies (ppg and dupont both say new urethane paints don't need and probably shouldn't be waxed they are extremely durable and shine well, but never totally dry)

The best wheel cleaner I've ever used is Wesly's Bleach White. Spray it on, let it soak. Then spray it again and wipe with a wet cloth or spunge. The grime that comes off even the cleanest wheel is dark brown. Then shine your wheel up with a product of your choice.

You'd need to eat 3 bowls of that import to equal the power found in just 1 bowl of LS1!
