I am not sure whether these prices are consistent statewide although I would assume they would be. But I am sure the Target folk among us could enlighten us more which would be greatly appreciated. I am assuming they are changing the packaging on some of these products of maybe bringing in some new ones.
I bought the liquid clay bar as well as a couple bottles of waxes. Typically I do not care for Turtle Wax, but I think that may have been my inexperience with the product more so that a lack of quality.
lso, I have 3 cars. 2 of which are not show cars, so if I use up a couple of bottles of $2 wax on the Exploder or Cavalier or even if I detail a friends car I do not feel bad about it.
I can remember investing a lot of $$$ in Meguiars because I liked it, but because Nick and I washed out cars together we would go through the stuff twice as fast.
Either way it is a good deal. However, I would like to point out that if TropiCare does a decent sale of GP I will be jumping on it.

Works great for what it is. It's not going to work as good as a real clay bar, but it's a HELL of a lot easier to use. I've removed paint from fenders twice (once on my car, once on Angie's car) and both times the clay bar removed all the other car's paint from the body and then left the surface perfectly smooth.Originally posted by MP81 View PostAnyone use the Liquid Claybar before? Like 98ultraz was saying the prices are not consistent state wide. It just depends on the store that you visit. You are correct, they may just be changing the packaging, the product itself, or we are just completely getting rid of it.Originally posted by phoenix_rising View PostI am not sure whether these prices are consistent statewide although I would assume they would be. I worked at target for years, some items will be consistent from store to store, some won't, it all depends.
for example, any seasonal items will go clearance at the same time, so like around christmas time, those car care christmas bundle packs that armor all puts out, will all go on clearance at the same time.
on average, most items will not go on clearance the same as other stores, usually because a product is either being cycled out, or a section is being reset with new or different product, if the product is not going to be going up anytime soon, it usually gets clearanced out, there is an automated process the determines what goes on clearance and what doesnt. the product may come back later, but there is no point in holding an item in the back room for a year, it wont get sold that way.
products with a certain lifetime will be put on clearance also, foods and such will go on clearance the longer they are on the shelf, just to get rid of them before they expire.
video games are another one, after a certain amount of time, a video game just becomes old, and get marked down, until finally going on clearance.. which applies for stores nationwide.
car care products, don't really change that much, and dont really expire, so the only reason they go on clearance is that they are no longer going to carry that product, because they are either replacing it, or just getting rid of it because it didnt sell, something on those lines, which means it will be store specific for the most part, if a manufacturer says they wont be making that product anymore, it may go on clearance nationwide. but you should never see a whole section, such as the auto detailing section, go on clearance at the same time nationwide."Project Shadowfax" <- Clicky Clicky

detailing stuff is on sale everywhere right now. No one is buying anything for their cars other than what makes them go. Im glad i never invested in that segment anymore than i did.-Joel
