  • Awesome McGuires Product!!!

I just tried a new wheel cleaner. McGuires Hot Wheels cleaner. It was freaking amazing!!! I had some real grunge built up in spots between the spokes and on the inside of the wheels. This stuff is super easy and works great. If you have some dirty nasty wheels give it a try!!! You'll be happy you tried!

I'll be purchasing some new stuff soon because I need to get some good products to detail and try before Superfest so I can have a spotless car when superfest comes around... will have to give it a try. Does it even work on the inside of the rim?

I used the Hot Wheels Chrome Cleaner the other night. Seemed to work pretty good. I didn't dry my wheels after like it said to b/c it started raining, but they still turned out pretty good. I had a few small cuts on my hand and got that stuff on my hand. Damn did that burn.

I'm gonna try it on my painted wheels, and see if it helps them to shine at all . . . I'm thinking of painting the wheels again, but I might just wetsand and clearcoat the wheels as they are right now.

I've used the Meguiar's hot wheels and it works pretty good. I'll tell you what works better and I've been using it for 12 years is Eagle One's A-Z wheel cleaner which is now called All Wheel and Tire Cleaner made by Eagle One. Works great, you can watch the brake dust and grime run off the wheel. Just don't breath in the overspray, it burns, lol.

It won't damage the paint on my wheels, will it?

All you have to do is read the bottle to see if you can use it on painted wheels.

Yeah, read the bottle, you may not be able to use it, its mostly for chrome and polished wheels. But if you can use it on painted, I would recommend it.

yeah i was thinking about trying some never dull on my wheels, but it said something like do not use on laquered finishes. Anyone know if its safe to use on my stock 3rd gen firebird wheels??
