I don't know... when I see a flat paint job, I think cheap car that isn't really respected by the owner, getting ready to have rust spots springing out all over the place because if the guy is too cheap to get it clearcoated and get a proper paint job, he must be too cheap to take care of the car properly.

i kinda like the flat look, but i think id go crazy trying to deal with not being able to maintain it. Just goes to show you how infatuated with detailing I am lol

Just think of all the free time you'd have to... uh.. well.. maybe you should leave it shiny.

I'd do flat on any F-body but a 4th gen. It lends itself to cars with flatter panels.

Whenever I see flat paint cars It reminds me of Ben Affleck in 'Dazed & Confused' after he gets paint dumped on him and takes off in his primer grey Plymouth Duster (And squels the tires on grass)

most cars painted flat around here are the badass ones. Theres a kid that goes to my school with a primer gray 69 cutlass 442. I gurantee that car would blow anyones car on here out of the water. Flat paint on cars to me(sport or muscle) means its a car you don't wanna f*ck with.

Yeah...I was thiinking hard about a flat job on my car...then I woke the F**K up from that screaming nightmare! I'd LOVE to find that flat paint 442 on the eastside and show you what your guarantee is worth
