I don't know if you can just paint on glass t-tops like you stated but they would be interesting to see, I like targa tops.

It is possible to paint the tops like that, but it takes some serious prep work to get the paint to actually stick. . . I don't know if I want to do that or not, it kinda defeats the purpose of having t-tops. . . They're like having 2 sunroofs, and when you cant see the sun, it's just kinda claustrophobic. . . Plus, I'm gonna have them out all summer, pretty much. Painting them and then taking them out would look kinda stupid. Your idea was a great one though, and I actually considered it until I found out exactly how much work was involved in painting glass.

I'm just saying, you get the look of a hardtop with the abilities of a ttop! The best of both worlds. Plus, dude if you do anything right it is going to take work.Thats why it is so rewarding in the end.
