  • Exhaust installed

Hey just wanted to let everyone know i bought a magnaflow cat back last week, and just got done installing it, only took about 1.5 hours to put it, other than that, it sounds great, and hasn't even had time to break in yet. Nice rumble at idle, and sounds good up high, no rasp yet so i'm very happy, i just wanted to thank everyone for their reccomendations, especially all the v6 guys. I'll get pics and a clip maybe tomorow after work.

Does hooker make a setup for those cars? The Aerochamber is tight.

Thanks again guys, here's a few pics. GetGone, the exhaust cost me about 385 shipped through ebay, i can give you the name of the seller if your intrested. The best part was he shipped it to my door in about 2 or 3 days. The exhaust still has to settle in a bit, but i love the way it sounds when i roll outta first gear, nice and low. I didn't put the supplied s-pipe on because it doesn't have an o2 bung in it, but i'm thinkin about getting one, and welding it in, along with a high flow cat. But for now it sounds good, next week starts the paint work on the car. Along with clear corners

I have no idea why, but the ls1 kit is less than the v6 kit, everywhere i looked the ls1 kit is less. Us V6 guys always get the shaft, ( the two piece one at that)

I have a magnaflow cat and muffler with all the stock pipe and mine sounds good as well. Magnaflow seems to be the way to go for the V6.

This system sounds great through the whole range, and when it's warmed up, the idle is fanatastic.
