  • does the TB spacer plate really make a diff?

    on this site i was on they said adding a TB spacer plate will add soo much HP. im thinking of the professial products TB but just want to see what people think of that statment from that site....

    I wouldn't expect much. . . Maybe a few HP, but the way it sounds, they think the TB Spacer Plate>God. Not true. lol

        thanks, why do some aftermarket TB's come with the TB spacer?? or does it just come with it casue it wont fir without it?? curouis

          Which ones? Give me some links to check out, I'll look into it for you. I think some of them may have the spacers because they are a little smaller from front to back, and the spacer may be needed to keep the airbox in the stock location. Otherwise, I've got no clue without seeing a link and checking it out for myself.

            well the BBK 80 mm has one and the professional products include one. like you said i think its casue iits smaller

              but as is for now i cant find the one company that just offers the TB spacer for a add on part, but im still looking .

                I work at an aftermarket accessories place and install them all the time. They are a waste of time/money!
