  • port/ polish TB or buy new 80mm bbk or other brands??

i looked into porting places and they can only port 3mm making mine a 75mm. is it worth it to just buy a new TB like BBK making it 80mm for like 300 instead of the p/p job of 150??

Buy an 80MM Professional Products TB for $180. I have an 85MM on my car and I love it.

I went with a Shaner S3. To me it was easier, due to that fact when I got it...it was polished and ready to install. And give the engine time to adjust. OMG, I was getting tired of the revs up and down until the PCM adjusted......

i ported my own. Wasn't bad maybe 1.5 hours including disassembly, porting, knife edging and center bar modifying. Feels more responsive and yes idle will be weird for a while reving up and down. Sometimes idling at 1500 and other times 500. But it smooths out after awhile. As for power maybe 3-8 at the wheels. Not crazy power but is free with maybe 2 hours of work including removal and installation.

Not a stocker at all, brand new polished unit from the company itself, they make their own. You can keep your stocker. Direct bolt in replacement, just add it to the cart and make an account and you can pay with paypal
