  • 1.6 to 1.52 rockers question

how much power would i loose if i swapped from a 1.6 to a 1.52 rocker ratio, or would i not hardly loose much at all,

reason being is that mine are really loud even when they are tight and are not the greatest of roller rockers to begin with, plus i am gonna get a smoking ass deal on a set of really nice 1.52 comp cams roller rockers.

any input as to what i may loose with doing this

its more than just a couple hp. your lift changes quite a bit going from 1.6 to 1.52 its around 20/30 thousands your losing in lift.

sean take the lift you have now divide it by 1.6 then times 1.52. you will have the new lift of your cam. I would buy the smokin ass deal on a set of comps and lose 5 hp or something. I don't think its enough that you are gonna notice.

You will probably never even notice the difference....especially since you haven't driven the car that much.

a real common thing is to toss 1.5's on exhaust and 1.6's on intake your only talking .033 lift wont be a huge difference might even help with the tuning issues youve been having...

It totally depends on your overall setup.
Sometimes adding more lift to the wrong cam does not gain much at all.
But like everyone said, dropping back on your lift, I don't think you will even notice it.
