Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

4-valve per cylinder LSx heads from Arao Engineering!
4-valve per cylinder LSx heads from Arao Engineering!
Got an email notice about this and thought I'd share it. Expensive at $7k but if you are going all out looks like they would be worth it. Anyway, the rest of us poor folk can still bench race with them, lol.
$7000 for cylinder heads!?!? amazing or not thats rediculous. I think people are nuts for spending $1000 on porting. Good lord, you can build two forged strokers for that if you do the deals right.
Not trying to sell of justify them guys. just thought I'd make people aware of them. I agree that for a street vehicle or weekend racer they are ridiculous. However, for someone running on a big budget needing to make all the power they can they may very well be worth it.
the transfer and rocker arm setup on those look just like the 3 valve heads GM is working on. The Price isnt too bad, we charge about $9000 for a billet engine block.

I dont think anyone has ever been able to get one of these conversions to run right...plus the fact that 4 valve heads are kinda pointless without DOHC...more bling than anything. I think a set of ls7 heads would do just as well

I disagree with that. Even though these would be operating off one cam still it's opening 2 valves on the intake and 2 on the exhaust letting in more airflow than any 2 valve arrangement will more than likely because it utilizes the entire chamber area more effectively than a 2 valve head can. It's doing the same thing overhead cams would just using rocker arms and push rods instead to actuate the valves.
