  • LS6 Heads vs. LS1 Heads Worth It?

I found a set of used ls6 heads with like 80k on um. Everything on um, springs, valves ect.

Is it worth the effort and probably $500 bucks to swap out my stock ls1 heads? Any major tuneing issues or anything?

stock for stock there won't be much differance. a ported ls6 will flow much more than a ported ls1 though

Well $500 here and a couple hundred to have them ported and you are close to a set of aftermarket heads.

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

If your going to go with used stock heads you may as well buy some used PP heads.
