    Yep... read that article!

    The reason some people see gains and some lose is because of the placement. Exhaust travels in pulses, so the placement of the cutout affects the tuning of the exhaust, the same way different organ pipes are different length. Placing the cutout at different spots will affect the RPM at which the exhaust will have the most benefit.

    It also virtually eliminates back pressure, which is good.

        Can you find me a place where is says that LSx's need backpressure. Also, how many 10.5 outlaw cars do you know that run anything more than headers?

            Mike, read my quote again.. it says.. "it virtually eliminates backpressure... which is good"

            No 4 stroke needs backpressure.

              OK, sorry man I just get confused when people say these cars need a certian amount of back pressure. I guess the way I look @ it as a big air pump and the faster you can get the exhaust out of the cylinder the better.
