ok it's a straight pipe, or cat delete (adds about 0 hp by the way) and at $30 you got robbed advance sells pipe for about 6 bucks, it will make the sound a little more raspy, and louder

ok arch here for once is wrong **** yeah been waiting for this. removing the catalytic converter(s) ads 0-10hp depending ont he application it can add more. they are highly restrictive making a car breath is all that is needed. if uc an get a car to breath right it will perform. this means no congestion on the inhale aka intake, and none on the exhale means it takes less to make the power. free flowing is hte term used here.04 dodge ram HemiGtx 001/433

on a car built prior to '90 it gave more power, but anything newr the cats flow very well, and it has been proven there is no hp difference by removing it unless it's clogged. it's just like on the gp's the stock muffler flows as well or better than any aftermarket, but because it's stock everyone thinks it's badOriginally posted by wasjo6431ok arch here for once is wrong **** yeah been waiting for this. removing the catalytic converter(s) ads 0-10hp depending ont he application it can add more. they are highly restrictive making a car breath is all that is needed. if uc an get a car to breath right it will perform. this means no congestion on the inhale aka intake, and none on the exhale means it takes less to make the power. free flowing is hte term used here.

if the rasp is too much add a glasspack muffler (when you buy the overpriced kits that's what they call a resonator)

yes the flowmaster may resonate too much (they are real loud in the car which is cool for a week after that it is annoying, and girls will refuse to ride with you for long)
