No power, some will laugh!

So I buy this 1994 Firebird for $2500.00 about 3 weeks ago. Its got 88,000 miles on it. Its blue, 3.4L motor. Great for me for a dailey driver and a pretty sharp looking car.
Well about a week ago, I felt the car getting slower, when I stepped on the gas, At WOT.....all I heard was motor....and its like the car wasnt going anywhere. So my 1st guess was the exhaust. So I took a sawzall and chopped off the catalytic converter. Sure enough, there were 3 big chunks that broke lose and it was blocking the flow of my exhaust! I was like YES!!!!!!!! Something easy. So welded a straight pipe back up and it was good to go. It was running as good as a 3.4L could run after that. So I went out and had some fun in the snow!

Maybe that's why my car is running so badly. . . lol It shakes on acceleration, I think it's an exhaust problem. I'm putting in a straight pipe after I upgrade to headers and a new cat-back. . . That's a great deal on the Firebird!

As long as im not in a hurry, I love driving it.
If im in a hurry, it sucks, because you cant take off fast. You have to hit the 2nd gear button, and give yourself some extra time to take off.
But I love fishtailing and doing cookies in the snow!

Yeah I got a great deal on the car. All it needs is the front nose repainted and a headlight motor. Already has a nice cd player, Interior is really clean. I bought different rims and tires for $150.00, it it totally changed the look of the car. Its got larger tires in the rear. I didnt like the stock firebird rims. Plus the stock rims had bran new tires on it. But when I got the car 1 rim was cracked, and the tire was shot. So I bought 2 stock rims for $30.00. But the tire alone was $130.00. So ill skip that for now. I'll try to take pics and post them up maybe this weekend.

Best two mods to my 3.4L: remove the EGR entirely, and pipe the catalytic converter
