    Im not saying that buying stainless isnt worth it, it is... but my coated pacesetters have barely started to surface rust after being on the car for 10 years. And the car does see rain occasionally.

      Im not really a fan of pacesetters i replaced them with stainless steel. But i do agree that the ceramic coated headers last longer and i wouldn't mind coating my stainless headers .

        Coating is always a good idea no matter what the material. Contains heat and scavenged better.
