  • Flowmaster?

Are flow masters loud inside the car?

  • #2
With Edelbrock headers and 3" pipe to a 40 series it was a little droney during acceleration and at highway speeds it wasnt too bad, not overly loud.

No, my car isn't that loud inside. When you slam on it though, you can hear it. I can get a video of my car inside.

        A video would be perfect!
I like the way they sound from watching the you tube videos of several but can't find any from inside the car. It's an ls1 and my summertime daily driver so I want to be able to have a normal conversation inside of it

Yeah, I'll get you a video tomorrow. I really like the sound of it. It bubbles like a speed boat
You can have conversations in it too. No real droning

Do you have factory manifolds or headers on the car? With factory manifolds a flow master isn't that loud but is louder with headers

                  "IT DEPENDS"

Headers? Cats? under the car dumps? Tailpipes? 3"? 2.5" dual? single?

I have dual 3" flowmasters dumped at the axle and they drone like all hell! I love them!

personally, I'd say to just get a Magnaflow cat back and be done with it.

That was an option also but I'm hearing there not much different from the stock one as far as the sound goes

                          Flowmaster?

Just get true duals, and never look back

of course after a set of long tubes

I was in the process of changing the bulbs out on my dash and I goofed a bit on it. That's why there is no light

I started pushing buttons on the radio too. I recorded it with my cell phone don't hate.

That's flowmaster cat back or just flowmaster muffler?
