I've heard a few people talk about this but not quite sure on what parts are needed what a done with the PCV port on the valve cover and intake..

Just out of curiosity, why is the side where it's going from the PCV valve to the bellows/intake considered the clean side? Isn't that were all the gunk is coming from, the exhaust gasses from the crankcase?- Brian Meissen

the LS6 valley cover has a barb coming directly from the crankcase, the valvecover in that senario is setup to suck in the clean air from the intake tract and then push the dirty air out the crankcase into the catch can.Doing less with more
