    OK.. so this winter I decided to forgo the turbo. And just go N/A.

    My goal is a 400-420rwhp street car that can be used as a DD but also rip up the streets..

    Current list of parts.
    Ls6 intake
    Stock injectors
    SLP air lid.
    KN filter
    Stock MAF
    1 3/4" BBK LT
    3" ory
    18" magna flow bullet.
    All suspension bracing.
    Qa1 coil covers on all 4 corners.


    I have a set of 243 heads that i might get ported.

    Wish list items:
    Ls6 ported oil pump
    Ls2 timing change.
    Ls7 lifters and tray
    Harded push rods
    Ported TB
    New head gasket
    Not sure what to do with rockers?
    Comp dual spring .660"


    For Cam I'm going with a comp cam 231/238 .617lsl/.615lxl. 112lsa+2

    What kind of numbers do you think I'll be putting down with a good doctor Phil tune?

    You been spying on me? The cam you picked out is almost exactly the same as the one I have listed..almost .. Funny how identical our cars are...With the cam though you are forgetting a torque converter in that list.

        Yea kinda funny. Im buying a cam off a friend of Travis carpenter.

        Yea stall too. Probably 36-4000.

          What other mods can be done at the same time that will get me up to the 400 club?

          Is that can to big for my application?

          Should I look in to doing a valve job at the same time?

            If you have the 243's cnc'd - 400 won't be an issue.

              I'm thinking these heads need a valve job done as well. Would bigger valves make a difference?

              I'm gonna hand port the ls6 intake as well... I want 400-425hp
