  • Looking for Headers

I have a 94 z28, lt1. I have been looking at headers on fleabay. I like the pacesetter mid length headers as a good compromise between performance and ground clearance. I have deleted the air pump and pipes on my car the egr is next. So I really dont need those hookups on the headers. Anyone know of a mid length header that will fit my car without the air and egr hookups?
Also what are the differences between the years from say a 94, mine to a 96? Port shapes? If its the air and egr hookups could I use a set of 96's or any other year?

All LT1 headers (93-97) will fit your car fine and should have the same ports. IMO just get air and EGR block off plates from ebay. They are cheap and work well.

    Pacesetters are good headers.

Not an LT1 expert here, but I believe the shorty headers had different years because the flange changed on the OEM y-pipe in 96 (?)
