  • Cleaning Cylinder head valves. Anyone try this?

Has anyone tried this? I am about clean my valves and want to find the best way to clean them. Would this be safe?

Just use the parts cleaner dip.
Or buy new stainless steel valves.

I wouldn't do that, any abrasion to a valve could cause them to not seal properly.

Scotchbrite is perfectly acceptable to clean valves. We use it at the shop all the time. Do not use it on titanium valves tho.
