Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I am running between 5 - 8 IAC counts on a warmed up idle.
Any ideas?
Adjust the blades?
What is the rpm your idling at?
Is your car cammed ?
Do you have a ported or hole drilled on your TB?
Do you have a way of data logging and posting. Id need to see your tps volts and the tps %.
That being said the more you open your tps tbe less you will read on your iac because it wont need to makeup for any air at idle.
If you close it alittle it will open the iac giving it more air and raising you iac count.
For a cammed car a iac of 45-65 is normal.
For a stock car a iac count 120-135 is ok.
No cam.
Stock TB with nothing done to it.
Car is idling at the commanded 800rpm.
TPS %0
TPS .65v
Ok adjust (close your Tb till it reads around .049-.053
When you do this make sure the throttle body blade dosnt stick shut. Snap the blades closed a couple time after adjustment to be sure it dosnt stick shut.
Ounce you have done that then reset the tps. By doing the fallowing.
Unplug the tps after you have lowerd the tps volts.
With the tps unplugged turn the key into the on position for about 7 secounds.(do not start)
Then turn ignition off. And plug sensor back in.
Ounce the sensor is plugged back In. Verify the tps is at 0% and the tps voltage is within the rage I stated above.
Then start car and tell me what your iac counts are.
.065 volts is pretty high.
Hope that helps and fixes your problems.

Its okay I think my TPS is fine anyways. Looking at the log when I have the WOT its reading 100% at 4.7x volts.
Could it be the IAC needs to be reset?
Reset the IAC Position
Depress accelerator slightly
Start engine, then release accelerator pedal, run engine for 5 seconds
Turn ignition "OFF" for ten seconds
Restart engine and check for proper idle operation It is NOT recommended to to push or pull on the pintle of an IAC that has been in service. The force required can damage the threads on the worm drive. Also, do not soak the IAC in any liquid cleaner or solvent, as damage may result. When installing a new IAC, you may move the pintle to match the measurement of the old one. The force required to move a NEW valve will not cause damage to it. Use engine oil to lubricate the o-ring. Tighten attaching screws to 27 lb. in.
