  • LS1 Pacesetter Y pipe problem

Had thing on my car for quite some time, not really rusty, but this thing is rattling, looks like one of the welds broke where the 2 sides meet.

you could ghetto rig it with some JB Weld. Also did you use saddle clamps or band clamps?

buy a Flowmaster merge pipe. It will possibly pick up some HP and get rid of some rasp at the same time.
When in doubt, Whip it out !

Bring it on up to our shop and we will get you all fixed up! Build you a much nicer one, v-band the headers while we are in there, etc

Looks like the weld broke. Was trying to decide if it was worth paying someone to reweld it, or do something different. Pretty tight on funds, like really tight, lol.

If I get it rewelded will it hold? Does the old weld have to be cut out?

Id love to Jonny, trust me, just dont have the cash You do need to get me a quote on a setup for a '06 C6 A6 coupe though!!! Headers to tail pipes!
