    Mine aren't loud at all. Well I'll get at this thing tomorrow, we just lost power a couple hours ago seen some cars with water to the windshield lol

      Well here is how it turned out. Going to probably through a couple insulated rubber clamps on the pre filter line.

          any reason for having the short line between the prefilter and the pump? we have both our filters off the pump ends just curious as to the benefits or any cons?

            I had a bunch of spare fittings and line and kinda figured why not... I just didn't know if running a 12female/12female with the weight of the filter, and lines would put stress on that fitting... Probably not, seeing as there's other guys that are already running it like yours is set up... How's your guy's car coming along? and I have to ask what does the acronym nbm stand for? kinda like mqbm no one really knows unless you have it lol. Do you need any spare fittings? I've got a shit pile of them

              NBM = navy blue metallic.

              the car is just on standby having issues with the fuel tank we were gonna use, they cut it up previously and somebody brazed sheetmetal in a few spots for clearance, tested it out after my feed and drain were all set and it leaks like a sive. I'm having somebody attempt to fix it and if no luck there I may have to start over with my own tank.

                that stinks man, I hope you guys don't have to many set backs with it.. it's pretty demoralizing that's for sure, I dealt with so much crap putting mine together I was really close to parting it out... just throwing it out there gas tank renu in Swartz creek welded a sump on mine, steam cleaned it, and sand blasted it for like a $110 bucks and it turned out really nice..

                  @DETROITMUSCLE @cOncEpT... how are you wiring your pump? Just wondering because i'm worried if I run a wire the length of the car it's gonna have too much voltage drop.. This happened with a buddies car that had to much voltage drop and it just couldn't push the amps the pump needed... wonder if throwing a big 8ga wire would work

                    Do you still have your battery in the front of the car?

                    Use the largest gauge wire you can and make sure the grounds are good.

                      Nope it's in the rear. You suggesting that I run my power wire off of the battery?

                        You could wire in a relay directly off the battery or use a power block in the very rear of the car close to the battery. All you need is the switch up front?

                          do you think you could elaborate a little bit more? sorry my biggest weak point on a car is wiring stuff..

                            Don't worry I suck at wiring also.

                            Fuel Pump Relay.jpg

                            You can wire it just like they have it set up in the picture using the factory key on signal wire or you can put a switch on pin 86 if you choose to run one.

                            Use 10 gauge or larger wire for everything. If your battery is in the rear your wires wont have to be long at all. By doing it this way your basically making yourself a "hotwire" harness.

                                these are the only ones I have on my phone.. If you need any more just let me know, it's a 1/2NPT thread on the sump, I used a 1/2 to -12 an fitting that I reamed out to the inside diameter of the -12an hose so there was no restriction. My tank was a little rusty, but it was pretty nasty inside... It looked brand new when I got it back.
