  • Exhaust cut outs?

Hey guys just had a few questions about the electric exhaust cut outs. How would it sound with stock headers and exhaust on a 99 Camaro ss with the only other mod being slp lid. Do you guys think that it would just be way too loud and sound terrible and be a complete waste of money? Would it be a better idea just to save up instead and do exhaust and headers? Thanks in advanced -Brad

On stock exhaust, the cutout would be post catalytic converter so it won't be as loud, but the performace gains will not be as great.

Headers and exhaust will allow that LS1 to exhale like it wants to.

It wont be overly loud if you have stock manifolds. The sound just isn't good tho. I refer to it as the dump truck mod.
